Award at Synod in 2001: Jennifer Shifrin

A Special Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Jennifer Shifrin, “in recognition of her service to those experiencing mental illness, to their loved ones, and to their faith
communities.” Ms Shifrin recently retired as the executive director of Pathways to Promise – Ministry and Mental Illness. With her leadership, Pathways, founded in 1987, has provided outstanding educational resources for local churches and national bodies.
